May 23 @ 5pm or May 24 @ 9:30am
This Memorial Day weekend we will recognize our recent high school graduates. These last few weeks have been challenging as our young people faced an ending to their high school career they could have never expected. Emotions are mixed. There is grief over missing many of the rites of passage seniors anticipate (prom, being with friends, final sports seasons, the senior picnic, favorite teachers, and the spring musical, to name a few). And there is also joy (and relief!) at reaching an important milestone.
Gavin, Tori, Emily, Abby, and Andy, your church family is proud of you!
This weekend in worship there will be a special video as we celebrate our graduates and this time in their lives. We will continue with our series “Finding Solid Ground in Uncertain Times” as we consider what it means to Move Forward in Faith even when the way forward doesn’t seem clear. Our scriptures for this weekend will be Proverbs 3:5-6, Hebrews 11:1, and John 13:34-35. See if you can guess the theme in our Scripture readings!
Though we are physically apart, I look forward to joining our hearts together in worship this weekend!
