We invite you to join in any of the Newcomer Groups to learn more about Normal 1st and have a chance to meet others. Some of the topics will include information about the ministries of the church, how to receive communications, how to get involved, an understanding of what it means to be United Methodist, and a tour of the building. And we’ll always make sure to have time for questions. We love welcoming more people into the community of Normal 1st.

We are looking for families or singles who might want to create a friendship with an ISU student and host them in church activities or whatever the “2nd Family” comes up with to share. Normal First is initiating a program with local college students who wish to participate. Volunteer families will welcome students in our services, offer assistance to them, and possibly provide other activities.
