Begin your journey with Jesus

The youth of Normal First are 6-12 graders who desire to live out our faith. We:

Welcome and affirm all - including LGBTQ individuals, diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds.

Recognize each person is God’s beloved child.

Believe God is loving and open.

See God in many different ways; pray and worship in a multitude of ways.

Do not allow hate speech.

Respect each other’s opinion.

Encourage one another.

Don’t gossip or talk about what is discussed.

Are concerned with social justice issues.

Experience mission trips to learn how God is working in our world.

Have fun - play pool, video games, ping pong, and eat together!

Stay in the loop for regular updates, events and meet others on the Normal First Youth Facebook Page.

Junior and Senior High youth groups encourage students to engage in the world around them, grow spiritually, and develop strong friendships. Weekly gatherings provide a time of worship, fellowship and small group discussions on real, relatable and relevant topics.

Pastors and members of the youth ministries staff lead weekly faith formation classes for youth in Grades 8 and up. In May, the students are offered the opportunity to make their own commitment as members of the church to accept the costs and joys of Christian discipleship.
