Streets Smarts and Safety Starts: Tools for Today’s Youth

We are inviting 5^th – 8^th Grade

The Normal Police Department is excited to introduce a new youth safety program, “Street Smarts and Safety Starts: Tools for Today’s Youth,” designed specifically for  5th-8th grade youth groups. We would love the opportunity to partner with your organization to bring this important program to your students.

This engaging, interactive session focuses on equipping young people with practical safety skills, including:

• Situational awareness & personal safety
• Recognizing red flags in social situations
• Online & social media safety
• Identifying trusted adults & knowing where to turn for help
• Peer pressure & making smart choices

Our goal is to provide youth with the confidence and knowledge to navigate today’s world safely while reinforcing their role in creating a supportive and aware community.
