Earth Day Celebration

NORMAL FIRST IS CELEBRATING GOD’S CREATION!
Join us for a joyful and meaningful Earth Day Celebration at Normal First UMC on the weekend of April 26 and 27! All three of our worship services will focus on celebrating God’s magnificent creation and the sacred responsibility we share as its stewards.
Rev. Vaughn Hoffman will bring a special message reminding us of the awesome privilege God gives us to care for the earth and all living things. As people of faith, we are called not only to admire creation’s beauty, but to protect it for future generations.
There will be special activities for children of all ages that invite our youngest members to experience the wonder of creation in hands-on ways.
Be sure to visit our Creation Care Fair/Sustainability Fair in the Lounge, open before and after all worship services on April 26/27 & May 3/4. You’ll find information, inspiration, and opportunities to take action — whether it’s learning about local sustainability efforts, exploring ways to reduce waste, or getting involved with our church’s Green Team.
