Saturday: Fess Up
“Confession is good for the soul.” In fact, the phrase “fess up” is a shortened version of “confess,” originating in the early 20th century. Somehow, to “fess up” seems a bit more lighthearted, acknowledging that we all end up doing things that need to be lifted up into the light of day. Without a regular fessing up, shame can take hold.
Reflection: What can you be up to today to let go of a mistake?
