This weekend will be a full one in worship!
Our worship will begin Saturday morning (8-12) with the Habitat for Humanity Wall Build at Calvary UMC. This will be worship in action as we join Calvary UMC and Wesley UMC to build 40 walls for our Beloved Community house for Kia Griffin and her daughter Georgia. If you haven’t signed up, there are still a few spots available, and children are welcome with their parents http://vhub.at/NFUMC.
We have talked about being community changers and now we get to come together and be the change!
Noel Lucero and Jim Walters from Habitat for Humanity will be joining us in worship this weekend for a conversation about housing justice and Building the Beloved Community.
In all 3 services, our text will be Isaiah 58:5-7, 10, as we look at how God calls us to build the Beloved Community and what that means for today.
In the 11:00, we will recognize 11 graduating high school seniors and give them our blessings as they launch into a new chapter in their lives.
Looking forward to worshiping with you this weekend!
We have our All Church Potluck this Sunday after the 11am service. Come for the fellowship, visit with old friends and meet someone new. ALL are welcome!
A meeting for incoming Confirmands will be held in the Chapel @ 12:30pm this Sunday
