Psalm 23 is full of wisdom and inspiration. It’s been used in times of death, in times of fear, and in times of want. It also speaks to us about the source of our energy – “He restores my soul” and “my cup runneth over.” Or the Message translation says, “You revive my drooping head. My cup brims with blessing.”
What energizes you? What healthy habits restore your soul? What not-so-good habits give you energy, but don’t you sustain you for the long haul?
My hope is that our worship together each week is one of those habits that “restores your soul”.
As many will be traveling this weekend, my prayers go with you. If you are town, I look forward to seeing you in worship
**Dedication of the Blessing Box – at the end of the Saturday service and at 10:45 on Sunday morning, we will be dedicating the Blessing Box that is attached to the west side of our garage. The Blessing Box has food items and personal items available for our many college students who walk by every day. In worship, we’ll be distributing a list of items that can be donated – you can drop them off at the office or place directly in the box.
