As we continue our sermon series on Enough, this week we will focus on where generosity fits in our lives. Winston Churchill is quoted as saying, “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.”
In this day of so many demands on our time, our resources, and our wallets, what does if mean to live a life defined by generosity? It may help us to remember that generosity is one of the fruits of the Spirit (Gal. 5:22 NRSV) and is one sign of our spiritual growth. Generosity isn’t a one-time act, it’s a way of life.
Last weekend we remembered those saints who have gone before us. This weekend at 9:30am, we will recognize the next generation as we celebrate the children and babies added to our church family in this last year. We’ve had 10 babies born to our church family in this last year. How exciting to see the little ones joining us in worship!
Looking forward to worshiping together this weekend!
