What does it mean for you to live a good life? What does God want from you? The Bible addresses these questions very directly in several places. One of these is in Micah 6:8.

“What does the Lord require of you, but to do justice, love kindness and walk humbly with your God.”

This weekend in all three worship services we will talk about what this means for us today. We are very fortunate to have Rev. Howard Daughenbaugh and Rev. Jim Bortell as part of our church community.

Howard will share a few reflections with us at Saturday worship. Jim will share a few reflections at11:00 worship on Sunday.

We look forward to hearing their wisdom.

In addition, Pastor Kim will be leading Saturday worship and Pastor Kent will be leading on Sunday.

This Sunday our 11:00 worship will be in the chapel, as we begin our summer schedule for the next 8 weeks.

In the United Methodist denomination this is the weekend that we celebrate “Peace with Justice.” There will be a special offering envelope for Peace With Justice in your church bulletin. If you don’t have an envelope and want to participate, just mark your gift so it will be directed to the Peace with Justice offering.

Worship is good for the heart, mind and soul.

I look forward to worshiping with you this weekend!
