This Advent season, we will be celebrating the Hope, Joy, Peace, and Love of Christ. Not because the world is perfect and all is well, but because God is in this imperfect world, working through us and others to bring Hope, Joy, Peace, and Love to our hearts and our communities.
This weekend we begin by focusing on Hope. Each service in Advent, as we light the Advent candles, we’ll hear a testimonial from a church member of a way that they have experienced Hope (Joy, Peace, and Love) in their lives.
Romans 5:1-5 are some good verses to help us understand hope.
Luke 21:25-36 offers a word of hope, even though it may be hard to glean.
This weekend, for the 5:00 & 9:30 services, we’ll focus on the Luke text to better understand God’s hope in the meantime.
For the 11:00 service, our children will be leading us with their musical “The Good News Hour.”
Look forward to seeing you in worship.
