42nd Annual First United Methodist Church Attic Sale

Tea Room and Bake Sale – Friday, July 20, 2018 8am-3pm


Tea Room and Bake Sale Hours: July 20 starting at 7am; lunch served from 11am-1pm or until they run out

Donations will be accepted from July 8-2pm to July 17-6pm.

NOTE: Please be sure items are clean and in working order.      Anything we discard goes into the dumpster which is an added expense for the sale!

Please mark bedspreads, comforters, and pillowcases as to size: king, queen, full, or twin.

Not Accepted: VHS tapes, aerosol cans, baby cribs, bed pillows, building materials, car seats, cosmetics, curtains and rods, damaged or stained items, exercise equipment, grooming items, mattresses, medicine, large microwaves, paint, pianos and organs, propane tanks, water beds, television sets, printers, scanners, computer monitors and systems, and any item that is on the government recall list (list available at www.recalls.gov).

Sorting dates will be July 9 through July 18 from 8:30-11:30am.  The evening sort days are July 9, 11 and 16 from 6:30-8:00pm.  New this year-Saturday sort-July 14, 9:00-11:30am.

Child care will be provided on sale day only-July 20. Please sign up at the Welcome Center ASAP if you will need childcare while you volunteer on July 20.

*Large item pickup provided by “2 Men & A Truck”. Contact Ralph Morgan @ 452-3127 no later than July 8 for scheduling.

Volunteers Needed!

Volunteers are needed to help sort, work during the sale, clean up after the sale, pick up and return tables, and load boxes following the sale.

Strong bodies are needed to help with moving before and after the sale.

Please prayerfully consider one or more work areas listed. Place your completed form in the Attic Sale mailbox in the church office.

I will help load and unload tables on Friday, July 6 (4:30pm- BCPA, 5pm-FUMC) and/or set up tables Sunday, July 8, (12pm).
