Sunday School Classes
Adult Sunday School classes are offered Sunday mornings at 9:30 and 11 am. Yokefellows is made up of retirees who sing and study together at 11 am. Bible Moths is known for its spirited theological discussions also at 11 am. Parenthood class focuses on the joys and challenges of parenting at 9:30 am. Faithlink meets to discuss timely news topics from a faith perspective at 9:30.
We have a variety of small groups that meet throughout the week. Short-term adult classes are held throughout the year.
The 7 Experiment
New York Times Best Selling Author Jen Hatmaker guides us through The 7 Experiment: an experimental mutiny against excess The “7” are: clothes, spending, waste, food, possessions, media, and stress. All are welcome to attend. Meets in room 53 Wednesdays 5:45-6:45. Child care available.
Heart to Heart
The second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 10 am is a time for retirees to gather for Heart to Heart which includes programs ranging from religious to whimsical, lively discussions, occasional field trips, and always a home baked treat.
Every Wednesday from 9 to 10 am seniors gather for fitness, fellowship, and food. Light exercise such as chair yoga is offered from 9 to 9:30 am with a light breakfast snack, devotional and conversations to follow.
Our retired members help in many ways at the church each week doing tasks such as counting offering, collating the monthly newsletter, assisting in the library, sharpening pencils in the pews, and taking care of flowers and landscaping.
Our quilters meet as a group once a week or come in when they have a few minutes to work on quilt projects
